Yesterday marked the end of the 2006/2007 summer baseball season in Brisbane with the grand finals played at the home ground of my brisbane club, Redcliffe Padres.
Great games of baseball showed off the talent in our junior teams.
Dad umpired two games and then left his mask at the grounds!
After the games, the Padres has the end of season team awards presentation. For the under 16 Division 1 team (my team), I ended the season with a batting average of .409 and I was awarded the fielding trophy.
Play starts in the Sunshine Coast senior competition in May and I have training for the Australian Expos team as well, so baseball season is never really over for me.
